Welcome with Open Hearts and Minds.

Change is not easy especially at a time when so much is different in how we conduct our daily lives. This pandemic has turned our lives upside down. And on top of all of that, we have been called by God to say goodbye to Pastor Isaac whom we love, and welcome into our fold two new pastors. There is a procedure for all of this, a way that it has been done all through the years at Wesley, how we know to welcome a new pastor. None of those ways of welcome can happen right now. We are unable to meet and greet in fellowship after service sharing beautifully prepared and delicious food while we shake hands, introduce ourselves and chat with our new pastors in person.

During this time of transition at Wesley when we bid farewell to Pastor Isaac with gratitude for all that he has done in ministry with us, and welcome our new pastors, Gary and Phil, let us be guided by the Holy Spirit to keep our hearts and minds open to the working of God in our lives and in our church. Let us show our Wesley hospitality to Gary and Phil, welcome them into our church family with open hearts and open arms, and celebrate the gifts that they bring to lead us in worship and ministry. We give thanks to God for calling Gary and Phil to Wesley Memorial.

"And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose".

Romans 8:28
