You are Welcome here …
Here on the edge of The University of Virginia’s grounds, we are honored to have undergraduate and graduate students worship and serve in ministry with us. All students are welcome to make Wesley Memorial their church home away from home, and to participate fully in the life of our congregation.
We are especially delighted to have students involved in our music and outreach programs, and to serve as lay readers, greeters, and communion servers on Sunday mornings.
Students worshiping with us are encouraged to introduce yourself to Pastor Isaac.

The Wesley Foundation
Right next door to us, across our parking lot, stands The Wesley Foundation, the home to United Methodist Campus Ministry. Here's a message from The Rev. Deborah Lewis, Campus Minister:
The Wesley Foundation's goal is to create a community where students can question and explore their faith through conversation, community service, and worship. We are a United Methodist faith community that welcomes students of all faiths, backgrounds, and sexual orientations. Our events are relaxed and don't require commitment -- be as involved as you want. Our service work supports local projects like the Virginia Institute of Autism and PACEM (serving Charlottesville's homeless individuals). Wesley is a place to be and a place to become, where everyone has an opportunity to build their relationship with God by building relationships with each other. Regular weekly gatherings during the school year are Thursday dinner and discussion at 6pm and Sunday Night Worship at 5pm.
To learn more, visit our website and Facebook page and sign up for the weekly email on our website to stay up-to-date on small groups, book and Bible studies, retreats, service projects, and more.
